Honouring the memory and celebrating the warrior heritage of the Early English.

El Clan del Cuervo
El Clan del Cuervo is a Spanish re-enactment society seeking to recreate life in the Early to Late Medieval Period. They have three sections; one focused on the Scandinavian Viking Age at the end of the 10th century, another on the Visigothic Kingdom of the 7th century and the last recreates the different cultures (Christian and Muslim) within the Iberian Peninsula in the age of El Cid, in the second half of the 11th century.
Westcentingas has many friends in El Clan del Cuervo and intend to continue our work with them both here in England and in Spain.
West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village
Unique reconstructed Anglo-Saxon Village built on an original settlement site, giving visitors the opportunity to touch and experience Anglo-Saxon houses as we imagine them to have been one thousand five hundred years ago. Visitors can also see the archaeological objects excavated from the site on display in a specially built centre.
Westcentingas provides the 'costumed' living history display during the busy August Bank Holiday weekend.
Tha Engliscan Gethisas
Tha Engliscan Gesithas (The English Companions) is the only major historical society devoted to the study of the Anglo-Saxon period. All aspects are covered, including language and literature, archaeology, anthropology, architecture, art, religion, mythology, folklore and material culture.
The society was formed in 1966 as a reaction against the public celebration of the Norman victory at Hastings. Its aims are to increase awareness of the foundations and growth of English culture and to bring together all those with an interest in the period, roughly AD 450 to 1066.

17th Century Life & Times
17th Century Life & Times is a living history, character role-playing, small skirmish & siege re-enactment group of about 120 members. Some members of Westcentingas are also members of 17th Century Life & Times.
The Tangmere Pilots
The 'Tangmere Pilots' exist in the 'virtual world' of 1940s Britain. King George VI is on the throne, and Prime Minister Winston Churchill is leading the nation in a desperate fight for survival against Adolf Hitler's Third Reich. The men and women of the British & Commonwealth Armed forces stand alone against the irrepressible might of the Axis war machine. In the skies above the British Isles and mainland Europe, as well as in the Mediterranean and the Far East, the aircraft of Royal Air Force, and the Royal Fleet Air Arm, strike relentlessly at the enemy.
'Tangmere Pilots' live, for the most part in the real world, with all its complicated responsibilities and potential consequences. But the virtual world allows him to climb into the cockpit of a 1940's fighter aircraft, and soar into the virtual sky of WWII.
